Once upon a time, there was a tiny grain of wheat that felt very small and useless. After going through the harvest, the mill, the kneading, and the intense heat of the oven, it was transformed into a beautiful, white, round host.
During Mass, a great miracle takes place: Jesus Himself comes to live entirely within this little host.
This gentle and profound parable explains to children how Jesus becomes present in Communion and how, by accepting to be transformed, we too can become carriers of His love.
